Summer in La Norma
- Norma Loop: Experience an exhilarating ride on the Norma Loop, a toboggan on rails. Enjoy a 900-meter descent through La Norma’s forest, with 10 turns, 6 bridges crossing roads, and 3 full 360° spins.
- Hiking and Trekking: Hiking around Villarodin-Bourget is one of the best ways to explore La Norma’s stunning scenery, but choosing the right trail can sometimes be challenging. Fortunately, there are plenty hiking routes suitable for all levels and interests, so you can hit the trails right away.
- Mountain Biking: Discover challenging mountain biking trails that take you through alpine meadows, forests, and mountain peaks. You can take your mountain bike on the gondola. Don’t have your own bike? No problem, you can rent one at the rental locations in the center of La Norma.
- Climbing and Via Ferrata: Explore 33 adventurous climbing routes divided into three sections. Parc des Diablotins offers 10 climbing routes for children aged 2-8 years, with ziplines. Le Parc du Diable has 23 routes for those aged 8+ and adults, featuring ziplines up to 100 meters long. Additionally, there are 2 giant ziplines with spectacular views!
- Paragliding: Soar high above the mountains and enjoy breathtaking views of the landscape during a paragliding adventure. A certified paragliding professional offers you a unique experience accessible to anyone aged 6 and up, weather permitting. You can even fly with 2 or 3 people at a time.
- Canyoning: Hike, slide, and jump through a mountain stream bed! Feel the adrenaline rush during this adventurous activity. Canyoning tours in Valfréjus are available for half or full days, depending on the chosen canyon and your experience level.
- Horse Riding: Explore La Norma on horseback during a one- or two-hour outdoor ride. Experienced instructors organize outings for three different levels: beginner, beginner+, and advanced. These tours are suitable for children aged 9 and up and offer a fantastic way to discover the mountains from a different perspective! Rides can be reserved at the tourist office.

Swimming in La Norma
The outdoor pool in La Norma is the perfect place for relaxation and fun, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. On sunny days, it’s a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. With a water surface of 1,000 m², the pool offers plenty of space for swimming and playing, ranging in depth from 30 cm to 1.60 m, making it suitable for both children and adults. For extra water fun, there’s a big waterslide that will entertain both young and old. The pool is supervised by certified lifeguards. Next to the pool is a bar where you can buy ice cream and chilled drinks, and there are also toilets available. The pool is open every day in July and August from 11:15 AM to 6:30 PM, so you can fully enjoy the summer days in La Norma.
